The RR’s appearance is simply stunning – as much a kinetic sculpture as a mode of transportation. The glorious all-titanium trellis-style chassis (a first of its kind) is devoid of color; brushed by hand to a subtle sheen to expose the beautiful, exotic material. The nine-piece carbon-fiber bodywork is clear-coated; delicate hand-painted pinstripes — in ECOSSE’s corporate orange — highlight the sumptuous curves of the tank and tail. Clear-coated carbon-fiber wheels add both beauty and performance.

With well over 200 hp and 210 ft-lbs of torque, a number of engineering hurdles had to be overcome. The bike’s sleek, lightweight titanium chassis makes the most of the formidable powerhouse. At 440 lbs., it is extremely light for the power it delivers. Eighteen months of hardcore R&D gave way to the impressive power-to-weight ratio. To achieve peak performance, the 2100cc engine, carved from a solid block of aluminum, is supercharged, intercooled and fuel-injected. While the world’s best suspension (MotoGP-grade Öhlins forks and rear shock) and brakes (ISR customs) complete the rare package.

As the ultimate accessory to the ultimate street bike, BRM — the boutique French watchmaker noted for the automotive cues in its designs — has incorporated the lines of the ECOSSE into a unique matching timepiece. The automatic chronograph’s brushed-titanium bezel reflects the brushed titanium on the motorcycle chassis, and both bike and watch share the same color scheme. BRM even constructed a face that reveals the watch’s mechanics — an allusion to the motorcycle’s exposed engine. The BRM, which has a large 48mm hexagonal face, includes a black leather band with orange stitching to match the custom seat of the ECOSSE. Each of the 10 watches made will be engraved with the same serial number as the corresponding motorcycle.
